📣ADMIN UPDATE: Hello everyone, I @white_turbo_mk5 wanted to share an exciting opportunity for us to give back to our community.
As the grocery manager at the Walmart Super Center in Simpsonville, I’ve spoken with our store manager about hosting car shows in our parking lot, with proceeds going to local organizations.
We’re thinking of hosting four events per year, each supporting a different cause, such as back-to-school initiatives, the police and fire departments, and the cancer hospital.

I believe this is a great way for @selfvation and Walmart to partner up and make a positive impact within the community.
Would you be interested in helping us make these events a success?
Obviously a lot of planning at to get done but the first step was getting permission from my store manager. He’s on board.

The second step is asking this community would be willing to show up, show off your cars, and help support the cause for giving back to the community.
We live in such a unique certain world these days and it’s alway nice to see the community come together and so many times this community has come together in so many ways and this would be one more thing that would be awesome to see to support the local community in this way!

We’re back at it again with the meets and this time we’re doing it bigger than ever! We’re collabing with Selfvation and Fully Involved Events to give you all the best time we can!
In addition to hosting the meet on our private lot, we are also setting up some contests with prizes, multiple food trucks and a space with a bouncy house for the enjoy.

Tickets start at 10$ per person for anyone over 15 years old, this gets you a spot in the General Admission lot and entry to the event. If you would like to enter your car into one of the class contests, or the burnout pit, Contest entries can be purchased for $20 dollars and a burnout pit entry pass can be added for $10 dollars.

Tier 1 parking is $40 dollars this guarantees premium parking in the front lot and covers everyone in the car. It includes 1 class contest entry and burnout pit access.

Tier 2 parking is 30 dollars, guarantees premium parking in the gated lot and covers the driver and one (1) passenger. It includes 1 class contest entry and burnout pit access. #carmeet #carscene #carcommunity

Q: What car do you drive, and what modifications have you done?
A: “I drive a 2015 Audi A4 with a 6-speed manual. It has been swapped for forged internals, and I run around 25 lbs of boost. It has a Flowmaster exhaust and an ECS blowoff valve.”

Q: How did you find out about Selfvation, and what made you join?
A: “One of my friend’s sister’s boyfriends is an admin, and I found out about it through him ( @fk8_gojo ). He let me into the Facebook group and told me about some of the meets! I had also seen stickers and shirts at various other meets and got curious.”

Q: What’s your favorite thing about being part of the Selfvation community?
A: “The large variety of builds that show up to meets—anything from a tricked-out Viper to a ricer Civic that sounds like a drive-by shooting—it’s amazing!”

Q: What are your future plans for your car?
A: “After high school, I plan to build my car to be more of a time attack car while also being a good daily!”

personally excited about this collaboration because before I moved to South Carolina I Met Kyle Weiss and Danaja Weiss. They were building their dreams and hosting a meet right down the street from me in Piedmont…it was my FIRST CAR MEET in SC. I told them I’m moving here with my Type R and had big plans for my car and bringing the community together!

Here at DripLab, we’re aiming to be the go-to shop for custom paint and body work in the Upstate. We offer a variety of services but mainly stick to restorations, color changes, show car quality builds, and keeping those custom rides looking minty. We also offer selective service and mechanical work on custom cars, as well as Volkswagen, Audi, and Porsche, including performance upgrades, motor swaps, electrical, in-car entertainment, and custom fabrication.

Q: How does your business support the car community?
We focus on the custom side of the industry that many businesses are moving away from. While most of the work is on the insurance side, we’re here to do what we love—build the best quality custom cars for the community. We host events at our shop and offer our space to others to host meets and events as well.

Q: What inspired you to start this business?
I’ve been a mechanic for 20 years, and I always wanted to do both auto body and mechanical work. I got burned out doing regular maintenance, and when this shop opportunity came up, I knew it was where I was supposed to be. This has been my dream—to have my own shop where I can focus on building custom cars for the community.

Q: What’s your favorite part about being involved in the car community?
The culture. Custom cars have been a part of my life since the late 90s. The freedom to express yourself captivated me. I love building rides with the people I’ve met over the years, and showing up to a meet or show with strangers who share the same passion makes me feel right at home.

Q: Any special services or promotions for the Selfvation community?
