Our next Subscriber Spotlight features Gentry Upton, who drives a 2015 Audi A4 with some serious modifications. Let’s take a closer look at his ride, how he found Selfvation, and why this community has become one of his favorites.

Car: 2015 Audi A4

Gentry’s Audi A4 isn’t just any stock sedan—it’s a sleeper with some serious work under the hood. Swapped with forged internals and pushing around 25 lbs of boost, this 6-speed manual A4 packs a punch. With a Flowmaster exhaust and an ECS blowoff valve, it’s not only fast but sounds amazing too. Gentry has turned this A4 into a ride that’s built for speed while still being a great daily driver.

How Gentry Found Selfvation

Gentry discovered Selfvation through a close connection—his friend’s sister’s boyfriend, Teddy, who happens to be one of our admins. Teddy introduced him to the Facebook group and got him curious about checking out some of the local meets. After seeing the stickers and shirts around and hearing more about the events, Gentry decided to see what Selfvation was all about, and he’s been part of the crew ever since.

What Gentry Loves About Selfvation

For Gentry, the best part of Selfvation is the variety of builds that show up at meets. Whether it’s a tricked-out Viper or a ricer Civic that sounds like it’s rolling up for a drive-by, Gentry loves the diversity and energy at every event. There’s always something new to check out, and that’s what keeps him coming back for more. The blend of cars and the community vibe is what sets Selfvation apart for him.

Future Plans

After high school, Gentry’s got big plans for his Audi. He’s working toward building it into a time attack car, aiming for the perfect balance of performance on the track while still keeping it practical for daily driving. We’re excited to see where he takes this build in the future!
