Shift for the Shield — Nov 7th at Walmart Simpsonville

Last year, this community turned a Walmart parking lot into $1,200 for local kids' Christmas. On Saturday, November 7th, we do it again — bigger.
Shift for the Shield is Selfvation's charity car show for Shop with a Cop. Every dollar raised goes to the Simpsonville Police Department's Shop with a Cop program, where Simpsonville officers personally take less fortunate kids holiday shopping. The money doesn't disappear into a fund somewhere — it walks the aisles of that same Walmart, next to a kid picking out their Christmas.

Last year set the bar
The first Shift for the Shield filled the Walmart Simpsonville lot on October 4th, 2025 — classics, exotics, and home-built favorites rolling in from all over the Upstate. Food trucks, a live DJ, and a raffle kept it moving all afternoon, and when the day ended, this community had raised $1,200 for Simpsonville PD.
That's the number to beat.
This year: Saturday, November 7th
Shift for the Shield runs Saturday, November 7th, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Walmart Supercenter, 3950 Grandview Dr, Simpsonville, SC 29680. (The show was rescheduled from October 10th — November 7th is the date)
Car show registration is $25 and includes your entry, your spot, judging, and a shot at the trophies. Registration closes Friday, November 6th at 7:00 PM — and here's the move: use coupon code "Preorder" for $5 off your entry, valid until November 6th.

Bringing the family to spectate? Come out. This is a family-friendly, alcohol-free afternoon built for the whole community — that's the whole point of this one.
Can't make it? You can still put a kid in that aisle

One thing to know: donations go straight to the cause, but they don't register your car — tickets are the only way to enter the show and be judged.
Why this show matters
A car show can just be a car show. This one is a Christmas morning for a kid who might not have had one, delivered by the officers who serve their own neighborhoods. Last year proved what happens when the Upstate car scene shows up for something bigger than trophies.
Nov 7th. 3 to 7 PM. Walmart Simpsonville. Let's beat $1,200.
