Selfvation Spotlight: Xander's 2004 Honda Accord EX-L

The 7th-gen Accord doesn't get the love it deserves. Xander's changing that one post at a time. That's why Xander (@dads_accord) is our Selfvation Spotlight.

The car: a 2004 Honda Accord EX-L sedan, the pre-facelift CM6, in blue. Xander calls it his proof of concept — "Im a builder, not a parts installer... This car is my proof of concept." The build sheet he posted lays out the serious hardware underneath: Tein Flex Z coilovers, SuperPro poly bushings, 555 lower ball joints, LYKT front upper control arms, K-Tuned rear lower control arms and toe arms, KSP rear camber links, Acura TL-S sway bars, FastBrakes caliper adapters front and rear, Acura RL calipers with 350Z track rotors, Acura MDX rear rotors, and Innovative A80 engine mounts. A Frankenstein J32A3 backs it up. This is a driver being built for HPDE log books — the goal is attacking Gridlife in 2027.

Xander's a Zenki loyalist — "Not a cookie cutter in sight... i actually like the Zenki look." He's launching a bespoke Honda/Acura restoration service, turning the same builder mindset into a business. His biggest post ever — a reel called "For now" — pulled 531 likes. And he shouted out Selfvation by name in a September caption about bringing a vision into focused reality: "What is YOUR Selfvation?"

Xander debuted "Evolution 1.1" of the Accord at a show this season and runs with the Greenville-area Honda scene. He's had the Selfvation app downloaded for a few months now, and his car is exactly the kind of home-built proof of concept this community exists for.
