Selfvation Spotlight: Mike's Subaru WRX

Some people build a car for the parking lot. Mike built his WRX to be driven — autocross courses, rallies, seven days from Atlanta to Key West. That's why Mike (@turbo_sol) is our next Selfvation Spotlight.

The car is a Subaru WRX hatchback wearing a color-shift wrap that flips from purple to burnt orange depending on the light. His own posts lay out the setup: BC Racing coilovers, Cobb Tuning, Enkei wheels, TinyBot vinyl, and Phenix Auto Wrap.

In January 2025 he took the WRX to its first autocross with the Clemson Sports Car Club. His own words: "Took the WRX to it's first autox! Car did great, I need to upgrade the driver though...lol. I definitely need more seat time." That's the kind of honesty car people respect — the car was ready before he was, and he said so out loud.

Then came the big one. In March 2026, Mike was part of the RWB OneLove Rally — seven days, Atlanta to Key West, fan events, track time. "To say this experience was amazing would be an understatement," he wrote. "I was honored to be a part of the RWB OneLove Rally this past week. We traveled from Atlanta to Key West over 7 days of fun, fan events, track time and fantastic food. The cars are works of art. I am thankful for new friends and the great memories made along the way."

That rally post drew 43 likes. This is what the scene is supposed to be: real cars, real miles, real people.

Mike's been part of the Selfvation family for a while now — he's tagged @selfvation in his posts and run the #selfvationspotlight tag himself. And off the track, he's a family man: "My boy looked great for prom! So proud of the man you have become." Cars, family, community — the whole thing.
