Selfvation Spotlight: Brendan Healy's 1998 Toyota Crown

A 1998 Toyota Crown, imported from Japan, lowered, still waiting on rims. That's the honest build. That's why Brendan Healy (@brendan_a3) is our Selfvation Spotlight.

The car: a 1998 Toyota Crown — a real JDM import, the kind of sedan you don't see at every

lowered. (Still need rims though)" — and later, "Crown Picture dump (still need rims bad💔)." No pretending it's finished. The Crown made its debut at its first legit Japan-specific meet with @legitjapan, and it's been a regular at Cars & Coffee at Obey the Crave ever since. Before the Crown there was a 2011 A3 TDI — "this is the end of the A3" — and then the import era began.

Brendan's also one of the scene's photographers — his "Part 1 of the autowerks meet" set is his most-liked post ever at 139 likes. He shoots the meets he attends: the rows of exotics at

Cars & Coffee, the packed show fields, the cars people drove hours to see.
