Selfvation Spotlight: Betta's 2017 Audi A3

Some people buy one car and park it. Betta went through four in three years — and loved every single one out loud, on the record, for all of us to watch.

That's why Betta (@betta_.jetta) is our first Selfvation Spotlight. Not because of one perfect build, but because of the journey: the kind of car love you can't fake.

It started in February 2023 with a red 2008 Subaru Impreza sitting in the snow. "Here she is everyone, say hello to my 2008 Subaru Impreza," Betta wrote. "Shes stock for now but come summer she is…" — and that trailing sentence tells you everything about how this person thinks. Stock was never going to last.

The Impreza years were pure enthusiasm: sunset shots behind "red," car wash days ("She's finally clean"), parts going on with shoutouts to the companies that helped. Then August 2024 brought the next chapter — a 2011 BMW 328i "sport edition." Betta's own words: "She will be modified soon just lemme get my money right 😂" — the most honest sentence in car culture.

February 2025: "Well here she is my new to me 2002 Mini Cooper S!!" — with a shoutout to the friend who rode along to get it, "and for the pho." That's the part that matters. Every car came with people.

And now? A 2017 Audi A3 Quattro S-line, repping the 864. The A3 era is Betta's biggest yet — their "Notice how she didn't say broke" reel pulled 283 likes, the most-loved post on the page, and the EuroFest trips keep coming.

Here's what sealed it for us: Betta's been part of the Selfvation family for a while now. A photoshoot with @selfvation. An interview with the Selfvation car group. Year-end posts about "a lot of new people" and "awesome friends" made through the scene. As Betta put it

closing out 2024: "Really fun year that I had and got to meet a lot of new people and make some more awesome friends. I got plans for 2025…"

This is what the scene is supposed to be. Four cars, three years, zero chill — and a community built along the way.
