41st Annual British Car Day — Saturday, October 17

Forty-one years. That's how long the British Car Club of Charleston has been putting on this show, and this year's edition spotlights classic Triumph sports cars. Saturday, October 17, 11 AM to 3 PM at Palmetto Islands County Park in Mount Pleasant — open to all British makes and models. Whether you drive a Triumph, an MG, a Jag, or you just appreciate cars that leak a little oil and have a lot of character, this is your crowd.

Salute to Veterans Car Show — Saturday, November 7

This one's close to home and close to the heart. Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Greenville hosts the Salute to Veterans Car Show on Saturday, November 7, from 2 to 5 PM at 3372 Laurens Rd in Greenville. Admission is free and vehicle registration is free — registration opens at 1:30 PM. A car show honoring veterans, in our own backyard, costing you nothing to attend or enter. Bring the family.
